Should You Allow Cheating?

Relationships between people are something wonderful. Once you've built a relationship with someone, you don't want to give it up easily.

Especially when the relationship is based on a sexual and romantic level. But it is happening more and more often that the man or the woman deceives their partner and cheats. Is that always the end of a relationship, or can you forgive affairs? What if both sides allowed cheating from the very start?

Open Relationships That Allow Cheating

A frequently chosen alternative for people who can't, or don't want to, commit to one person is to have an open relationship. Here partners talk openly about everything, and in most cases the partners then each

allow the other to cheat. Trust probably plays the most important role in such relationships. Because only someone who trusts their partner can allow cheating and, above all, cope with it. If that isn't the case, jealousy scenes and quarrels are definitely guaranteed. In an open relationship it is enormously important to be able to talk openly about everything and to listen to the other person. Then the different meetings with other sexual partners also work much more relaxed and are more fun.

Allowing One-Sided Cheating?

Both partners don't always have the desire to have other sexual partners. Often it is men who look for more variety and want to satisfy different women. Conversely, there are of course also women who like to satisfy, or want to satisfy, several men sexually. Here too it is important in a relationship to

communicate openly, in order to clear problems out of the way from the start or never let them arise at all. With open communication and enough trust, there are many people who allow their partner to cheat. Often, however, it is only the fear of otherwise losing the partner altogether.

Allow Cheating or End the Relationship

It is a fine line between accepting cheating and rejecting it. As mentioned, there are people who allow their partner to cheat out of pure desperation and fear, others do it because they themselves like having other sexual contacts, and still others simply need the variety of different people.

How far you can and want to go along with something like this is of course always individual. Sometimes a relationship makes little sense, sometimes it becomes more intense and stronger than ever before. The most important thing is always open communication between both partners.
